Refund Policy

The two cases in which Ravenquay returns days on a berth, the single slice of a top-up that can go back in crypto, and how to claim either one.

Quick answer

Does Ravenquay give refunds on a server?

Yes, in the cases set out here. If we cannot deliver a server, or it breaks and support cannot bring it back, the days it was out of service return to your balance. Balances do not expire. Top-ups are not cashed out unless the law requires it; the part paid only to reach the minimum top-up can come back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, provided it has not been spent. Returned days arrive on your Ravenquay balance, not in a wallet, and claiming them needs no KYC. The smallest berth, Harbor 8, is $72.62 for 30 days, paid in crypto.

1. When are days returned?

Days come back in two cases and no others:

  • The server cannot be built. For instance, no machine of your chosen berth is free in your port of call by the time the payment confirms. Nothing is created, and the full price stays on your balance.
  • The server fails and support cannot fix it. Each day it was offline returns to your balance, counted pro rata: the term's price divided by its days, so one thirtieth of the berth price on a 30-day term, and the matching daily share of a 6- or 12-month price.

The table works the rule through the situations that come up most.

SituationResult
You order Harbor 10G at $356.25 and no machine of that berth is free in your port of call when the payment confirmsNo server is built. The whole $356.25 stays as balance, ready for another berth or location.
Your Harbor 8 is handed over two days after the payment confirmsNothing is lost: the 30 days you paid for begin at handover, not at payment.
Your Harbor 16 at $205.27 runs 18 days, then a fault stops it and support cannot restart itThe 12 offline days return to your balance: 12/30 of $205.27.
You cancel your Harbor 8 on day 9No credit. A cancellation hands the machine back and erases its disks, taking the unused days with them.
Your server is suspended for running a stresser serviceNo credit: a suspension under the acceptable use policy sits outside the refund cases.
The term ends with auto-renew off, or too little balance to renewThe server halts, the disks are kept 7 days, then wiped. Nothing further is charged and nothing is credited.

2. Where do returned days go?

After support confirms the case, it places the credit, in US dollars, on your Ravenquay balance. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your servers. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.

That balance buys any berth on the Ravenquay pricing page, in any port of call that is open.

3. Can part of a top-up go back in crypto?

One part can: the amount you added only to reach the $25 minimum. Ask within 30 days of the payment and, as long as that amount is still unspent, it returns in USDT or USDC. The rest of a top-up stays as balance and is paid out only where the law demands it.

This slice comes from the way an order is priced. An order asks you to top up the shortfall between your balance and the price, but never less than $25. When the shortfall is under the minimum, the difference lands on your balance, and that difference is what can come back.

Top-upAmount returnable in USDT or USDC
$25, when your balance already covered most of a renewal of Harbor 8 and under $25 was short$25 less the shortfall, if you ask within 30 days and have not spent it.
More than $25 in that same caseStill only the difference. Anything beyond the minimum is ordinary balance.
$356.25 for an order of Harbor 10G from an empty balanceNothing: the top-up held no amount added only to reach the minimum.
A top-up of $25 or more with no server orderedNothing: all of it is ordinary balance.
A request sent 45 days after the paymentNothing: the 30-day window has closed. The money stays as balance, which never expires.

4. How do I claim?

Every claim is made by email, and none asks for ID or documents.

  1. Email support

Write to [email protected] with "Refund request" in the subject. Send it from the address on your account if there is one.

  2. Identify the payment

Give the order reference (ORD-…) and the payment's transaction ID (TXID). Do not include your account number. Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your root password or your private SSH key, by email or in a chat.

  3. State the claim

For days on a server that failed, add its IP address and describe the fault. For the minimum top-up slice, add a USDT or USDC receiving address and name its network.

  4. Await the answer

A person answers support emails within 12 hours, seven days a week, including help with SSH keys, RAID, reinstalls and firewall rules.

5. What is never refunded

  • Balance from top-ups, apart from the minimum slice in section 3 or a payout the law requires.
  • Unused days on a server you cancelled.
  • Days left on a server that was suspended under the acceptable use policy.
  • Data lost to a disk wipe: after the 7-day window, a reinstall or a cancellation. No backup service is included, so store copies of your data elsewhere.
  • Blockchain fees on your own transfers.
  • Payments from sanctioned addresses. We screen incoming payments against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses; payments from listed addresses are not credited.
  • Coins sent to the wrong address or over the wrong network: a blockchain transfer cannot be reversed.

6. Is there a free trial?

No free trial is offered; Harbor 8, the smallest berth, costs $72.62 for 30 days. There is no setup fee: you pay the price of your chosen term, both when you order and when you renew. Credits arise in the section 1 cases alone, so check a berth's processor, memory, disks and port speed before you pay. The Ravenquay pricing page shows what each order is built from.

7. Is a crypto chargeback possible?

No. Once a blockchain payment confirms it cannot be pulled back, so a chargeback is not possible with crypto. The cases on this page are the only way to a credit or a payout, and requests go by email to [email protected]. This policy forms part of the terms of service.

8. Revisions to this policy

This is the version of 1 November 2026. We may revise it. The date at the top of the page marks the current version, and a change applies to payments made on or after that date.
